THE FOLK IMPLOSIONがメジャーレーベル傘下と契約したのに対して、sebadohではインディーにこだわりをみせたアルバム。このアルバムには『轟音』というものがあまりない。前作「Harmacy」もそうだったのがさらにソフト志向が強まった感じだ。アルバム「Bakesale」のようなサウンドを求めたファンには少し物足りないかも。
このアルバムも名曲揃いです。サウンド自体がいままでよりもクリアーになってるから、Lou Barlowが作り出すメロディーがさらに際立っています。特に”Love is Stronger”のできが素晴らしい。意見は分かれると思うけど個人的には名盤だと思います。
このアルバムからBob Fayに代わってRuss Pollardがドラム主担当として参加。Bob Fayも脱退してしまったのかなぁ…。そういえばこのころにEric Gaffneyがソロをリリースしてましたよね。まだ入手していないんだけど初期sebadohぽくってなかなか良いらしいです。頑張ってほしいです。:-)
